Ebenezer

"Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen and called its name Ebenezer; for he said, 'Till now the LORD has helped us.'" ~ 1Samuel 7:12

Till now the Lord has helped us.  What a wonderful Savior!  Another year has ended and a new one begins.  There are so many things to be thankful for looking back over the year 2011.

~We added a new member to our family in July.  :)  Sweet little Esther Hope.

~The Lord brought us through several health-related issues and even a death in our extended families.

~The Lord brought us through yet another financially-difficult year.

~The Lord has blessed us with 7 healthy children.


And looking ahead to 2012 we look forward to what the Lord has in store for us, for  "we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28.  So no matter what 2012 brings us, we know that if will be for our good.  What a comforting thought!
