About

The Lord has blessed me immeasurably. First of all, He saved my soul from eternal damnation, which I so greatly deserved. He chose me from before the foundations of the world to be a part of His church, for which He willingly came to this earth, humbling Himself to the point of death on a cross, to save for Himself.

Not only did He see fit to save me from His wrath, He also gave me a wonderful, perfect-for-me man to be my husband and partner through life. I'm so very blessed to have Josue for my very own! He is my best friend, the love of my life. He is the best husband I could ever imagine and he is the best father I could have ever chosen for my children! He truly is a unique, wonderful man! I love him with all my heart!

The Lord also saw fit to bless us with 8 children (so far) ;). You can read the story of our journey through a tubal ligation and tubal ligation reversal here. We have a boy, followed by 6 girls, followed by another son at the end. Bookend boys. :)  We have chosen to homeschool our children and we strive to do as much as possible as a family, instead of going in many different directions.

God has given me a heart for my family and I have a real desire to teach/exhort/lead other moms in seeing the importance of being the wife and mother that God has called them to be. That is the purpose of creating this blog.

I hope to encourage my readers with Scripture as well as advice and tips I've learned along the way with my large family. I also hope to share some homeschooling encouragement and help. I remember how overwhelming it was when I first started out (both in homeschooling and in raising children) and I hope to be a helpful voice to anyone who needs it.
